This Mastermind is designed to give members the answers to create the biggest impact for themselves, and their organisation, during their time as EA to the CEO.
The EA is viewed as their CEO’s right hand, performing any and all tasks necessary to keep their CEO up-to-speed and able to do his or her job as well as possible. The EA often serves as an extension of their CEO by acting as their ”voice.” Handling the CEO’s written and verbal communication can be a chief component of the EA’s role, and as such it’s of the utmost importance that an EA be attuned to the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of the CEO for whom they work. With such a challenging role and environment, it is imperative that the EA has a support network and structured development program that will facilitate their ongoing professional development.
The EA Mastermind creates an environment of trust where challenges can be shared and solved in the ultimate EA peer group, leveraging the lived experience, wisdom and advice of individuals who are and have successfully navigated through leadership roles.
Invitation only limited to Current EA’s working within public listed companies, major private companies, government and education sector.
The EA Mastermind is about addressing key concerns for today’s EA in a facilitated environment. The chairperson of each group will demonstrate an international standing and reputation, someone that has successfully navigated the EA path. Coupled with the chairperson, each meeting will be complemented with Guest Mentors who will share their lived experiences on the topic for discussion. The chair will also act as facilitator for each group.
These professionally facilitated Mastermind groups will ensure that the EAs can count on each other to provide fresh insights and perspectives enabling accelerated growth and greater business and personal success. When placing 20 high performing individuals in a room the possibilities are endless.
From a member’s perspective: “The EA Mastermind group members are the only people who I can talk to, who I trust, vent to and ask for solutions to problems without a vested interest and truly understand the pressures and challenges involved in the role offering relatability and best practices from lived experiences.”

Starting her career as an entry level administrator, Amanda worked her way up supporting senior executives in a range of industries. Her last role supporting the Managing Director of a global change management firm, had her realise how difficult it was for senior leaders and businesses to achieve bigger, bolder commitments inside of the ‘traditional’ EA 1:1 operating model. It was time for a dramatic shift in how businesses utilised administrative support. Shortly after, Amanda founded The EA Institute, where they partner with organisations to create high performing business assistants, that are aligned to the business needs.
