Thomas Beregi is the CEO of ASX 200 financial services company Credit Corp Group Limited (Credit Corp) and has held this position since 2008.

Under Thomas’s leadership Credit Corp has grown substantially, with net profit after tax increasing from $5 million in 2008 to $96 million in 2022 and market capitalisation increasing from $20 million in 2008 to $1.2 billion in 2022. Thomas has led a programme of disciplined organic expansion, taking Credit Corp from a small mono-line Australian debt buyer to become a leading global debt buyer and a successful Australian consumer lender. Credit Corp has established a strong reputation as the most sustainable and compliant operator in its segment of the financial services market.

Thomas has previously served as a non-executive director of the Credit and Investment Ombudsman Service Limited.

Prior to joining Credit Corp Thomas held executive-level finance and operational positions with leading FMCG and business services organisations including PepsiCo Inc, Diageo PLC and Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.

Thomas lives in Sydney with his wife and three children.
