Gitanjali Bhalla is an accomplished, commercially focussed, and innovative business leader with over 20 years’ experience and achievement across global and Australian professional services firms and corporates. Highly experienced in human capital management, mergers and acquisitions and business services alignment, she has delivered strategic, high-impact and pragmatic solutions in complex and fast paced environments to increase shareholder value in organisations varying in size from 100 to over 50,000 people across up to 70 countries.

Gitanjali began her professional journey in consulting at Andersen and Ernst and Young in the areas of tax and strategic human capital management solutions. Her other corporate roles have included leading human resources and corporate services at UGL Limited and at Cushman & Wakefield leading the Asia Pacific and Greater China businesses through the challenge of operational integration and transformation to deliver cost synergies, whilst continuing to support opportunities for growth through business transformation projects.

Currently at Seven Group Holdings Limited, Gitanjali leads the People & Culture and Safety portfolios across the Seven Group and its companies across a diverse range of industries that include industrial services, media and oil and gas assets.

In 2018 she was appointed as a Director of Coates and WesTrac.

Gitanjali is on the Board of Carriageworks. She is also a dedicated Ambassador for Good Return, a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering women through microfinance, and an active member of HBET, an organisation that awards scholarships for underprivileged children in India to further their education.
