Carla Ramchand is a senior executive with experience leading hyper-growth businesses in the technology and telecommunications sectors in Australia and international markets.

As Avanade’s Growth Markets Chief Operating Officer (COO), Carla drives the implementation of the organisation’s global business strategy, oversees business performance and manages the 4,500 Microsoft-skilled consulting workforce across Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East. In addition, Carla is an executive sponsor for inclusion and diversity, particularly in leading initiatives to attract, retain and cultivate senior female talent.

Prior to her current role, Carla was Avanade’s Growth Markets Modern Workplace Executive and Executive General Manager for Cybersecurity at IBM. She also held several senior executive roles within Telstra's Enterprise and Government Business, including Head of Business Development and Head of Networks, Applications and Services Sales.

Carla holds a Bachelor of Social Science & Policy (Applied Research & Political Science) and Graduate Diploma of Commerce (Information Systems & Management) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Graduate Certificate of Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM).

Carla is recognized as an inspiring role model and business leader to her team members, the global community in Avanade and women across the technology industry. She is married with two children and enjoys travel, theatre and following both the Carlton Football Club and New York Rangers.
