Greg Adamson is a data communications engineer and now Chief Information Security Officer at the Victorian Department of Transport and planning. He has worked in federal and Victorian governments, at ANZ, with Fujitsu in the UK, at the University of Melbourne, for the asian development bank across South Asia, and in various other roles.
He has a post-graduate in cyber security from the University of Canberra, a PhD in e-commerce from RMIT University, and a Master of commercial law from the Melbourne law school. He is an honorary associate professor at the university of Melbourne school of population and global health and a recognised authority in professional codes of ethics, blockchain, and explainable artificial intelligence. his pro bono activities include with ieee as technical vp in the society on social implications of technology, and as a club Melbourne ambassador.
