Gaurav Oberoi is the CEO of Afea Care Services, an award-winning disability and aged care service provider. His passion is in innovating business outcomes by leveraging technology to challenge the status quo. He has previously been responsible for client solutions at large global tech companies such as Cisco and Toshiba Australia.

He first joined Afea in 2015 as the COO because he was motivated to translate his expertise in workforce optimisation to create more meaningful impact for the community’s most vulnerable. He spearheaded the digitalisation of Afea, which not only reduced the company’s carbon footprint, but distilled complex processes into a streamlined journey to provide better transparency, communication, performance tracking and financial management for all stakeholders.

As he transitioned to CFO, he developed a fisheye perspective of the business that allowed him to pinpoint areas to help Afea scale. Today, as CEO, Gaurav has led Afea to be named by the AFR as one of the fastest growing companies in Australia.

His success in strategic growth is complimented by a compassionate approach to leadership. An advocate for mental health, Gaurav has fostered a workplace that ranked third in the AFR Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.

Most recently, Gaurav was a 2022 Outstanding Business Leader finalist in the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence.
