As Chief Financial Officer, Jody drives delivery of the firm’s strategic financial objectives with primary responsibility for planning, implementing and managing the financial activities of Deloitte Australia and supporting the assessment of financial risks and opportunities.
Prior to this Jody held the role as the firm’s Chief Risk Officer for 6 years. In that role, Jody developed strategies to protect and strengthen the firm’s brand, reputation and risk profile in Australia including responsibility for enterprise risk, quality and regulatory frameworks, data security, confidentiality and ethics.
In 2020, Jody represented the firm at the Parliamentary Inquiry into Audit Regulation in Australia and co-led the firm's response to the COVID19 global pandemic.
Jody is a registered company auditor with experience derived widely across the Australian firm, including 10 years in Sydney providing audit and advisory services to the ASX100 and leading multinational enterprises in the retail, energy and agribusiness sectors and as Audit Leader to a number of regional practices of the firm including Darwin, East Timor and Adelaide.
Jody was formerly also the Managing Partner of the South Australian practice.
